Horse Days 2011 – Loving the Draft Horses
We spent Saturday at Horse Days at the Boone County Fairgrounds in northern Illinois. Unfortunately, it rained hard for a solid hour and delayed/canceled a lot of the events we wanted to see. Eastern Tiger Swallowtail – Black Female Form
I was out hiking with no equipment (bins or camera) other than my iPhone and discovered a beautiful Eastern Tiger Swallowtail (of course, they are all beautiful). Next to it was a black female “morph”. Too cool!! Photos in Winnebago County in northern Illinois.
