Saving the Kirtland’s Warbler – Science Talks

“Saving the Kirtland’s Warbler” is one of a series of Science Talks that takes place at the Cranebook Institute of Science. These lectures are done by experts from the Nature Conservancy with this one happening on Thursday, May 5, 6:30 p.m.-8:00 p.m. in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan.

While we won’t be able to make the talk, past lectures are archived. Especially interesting to us is the “Burn, Baby Burn!” lecture on how fire plays such an important role in nature.

But if you are able to make it, this talk on Saving the Kirtland’s Warbler sounds amazing. This endangered bird has been making appearances at the Biggest Week in American Birding and is found more and more in Wisconsin as well.
