I learned a new technique in Photoshop called “tilt-shift” and decided to test it out after visiting Stacia’s sister in Winona, MN. We headed to the top of Garvin Heights to get a view of the city. Bella Nova Scotia after a hike
I was out hiking with no equipment (bins or camera) other than my iPhone and discovered a beautiful Eastern Tiger Swallowtail (of course, they are all beautiful). Next to it was a black female “morph”. Too cool!! Photos in Winnebago County in northern Illinois.

July 15th, 2011 I digiscoped the moon with our new Panasonic Lumix DMC-TS3 and our always reliable Swarovski spotting scope.
I hadn’t rode since Hawaii but it felt great to get on Teddy and ride him around.
