I am posting a photo of a Bar-shouldered Dove
Here’s a shot of a Common Redpoll from last year. I haven’t seen any this year, have you?
Enjoy the Raven’s dancing in the sky.
I’ve got a fun little White-crowned Sparrow up this week.
I am posting a male House Finch to celebrate the Great Backyard Bird Count
Winter Wren from me this week!
I apologize in advance for the poor photo quality but just had to share my good luck in finding a snowy owl!
I am posting set of shots this week of Savannah Sparrows wintering on the Katy Prairie in Texas. Enjoy!
Finally caught up on things so I’m back in after missing a couple weeks. Two birds actually this week, with both Common Redpolls and White-winged Crossbills being weekend highlights (like the rest of the northeast North America it seems).
My post includes a fair number of local waterfowl, but you can list me for the American coot (if it’s not taken already.)
I am posting a Noisy Friarbird this week.
My pain in the butt to photograph Oak Titmouse this week.
Bald Eagle for me this time.
Posting photo of Indian Roller.
Another Super capture of the Winter Wren Matt! And the bokeh on the second photo really makes the bird stand out. I did have to search for the wren shots though, so my suggestion when you leave a link, link it to a specific part of your site like: http://www.mattbangophotography.com/gallery/birds . This will make it easier for us to find, even if we can’t make comments.
Sorry I am late with this. I posted my very first Bird Photography Weekly submission yesterday. A photo of a fluffed up Tufted Titmouse.
Phew – just got in late yesterday from our trip and didn’t have anything ready yet for this week’s BPW. So I am just posting a quick “mystery bird” pic (hint: photo was digiscoped in Trinidad) that I will identify a little later in the week!
A not-great photo of a great bird (red-necked pharalope)
Still trying to catch-up from several days away. Here’s a female purple finch beauty.
OK, I’m a Johnny one-note, but I got my first look at the eaglets in our local Bald Eagle nest.
My post today features a belted kingfisher, dark-eyed juncos, house sparrows, and a song sparrow, all congregating around my bird feeder.
I’ve got a great mallard hybrid mugging for the camera. Gotta love ponds!
Very common bird – Eurasian Tree Sparrow (Passer Montanus) here
