It’s been so cold and snowy here in New England, I’m having a hard time remembering what warm weather (and warm weather birds) is like. So I’m posting (to me) cold weather bird pics – a White-tailed Ptarmigan digiscoped in Colorado.
I’m showing a pine warbler this week.
I am submitting another Mourning Dove. It just fits for this week’s blog entry.
I am new to birding and photography, but this blue jay photo is fun…
Rambling Woods Blue Jay
I`m back after a break with a cute pied wagtail.
Common Loons from the Wisconsin northwoods.
Golden Crowned Kinglet Posing With Its’ Catch.
Here’s a Prairie Warbler I photographed this week in South Florida.
My offering is a Yellow-billed Loon I saw a few years ago in Alaska.
I’m posting snow geese this week. Enjoy!
Black Scoter for me this time. Our fourth lifer of the year which we saw last Saturday.
Late joining in as usual. I’ve got a Downy Woodpecker and related question in my BPW post this week. Woodpecker experts (that’s you, Christopher!) are encouraged to comment. 🙂
I am posting a Red-necked Stint
Black-winged stilts in flight. Thanks.
I’ve got a White Helmetshrike that we saw exactly two years ago.
Townsend’s Warbler from me 🙂
A hermit thrush visited my birdbath today! Unless, of course, I’ve ID’d it wrong. In that case, help!
Better late than never I guess. This is my first of many Bird Photography Weekly posts. I began with the Western Bluebird, and I’ll tell you why…
