How about an angelic Raven?
I’ve got the long tailed duck, alias Oldsquaw, up for the Solstice.
I am posting both Red-winged Parrots and Australian King Parrots.
Merry Christmas and a great 2009 to Birdfreak and its team!
I contribute a bird that has been shown already – but this Osprey does warrant a repeat appearance! 🙂
Cheers, Klaus
Adding my tufted titmouse this week. Happy holidays!
I’m showing the Eastern Bluebird this week.
Merry Christmas everyone!
Happy Holidays to the Birdfreak team and to all contributors to Bird Photography Weekly! I’ve really enjoyed all the great photos that are posted each week, and will look forward to more great photography from you all in the coming new year.
This week, I am still remembering what it was like to be warm and dry with an image of a Common Moorhen from Florida last January.
Cheers!
My submission this week is a Senegal Coucal taken in sunny Gambia.
I’m submitting a Ruddy Duck for this week.
Happy Holidays everyone!
I feel so lucky to have gotten these photos of the pymy owl. He seems to have taken up residence here and I have seen him devour two sparrows in two days that are the same size he is. I have taken a ton of photos and hope he hangs around permanently. He is not shy and lets me take his photos with no problem.
This week from me its the worlds rarest goose – the nene.
I offer a pair of Blue winged Teal this week. Happy CBC to everyone!
Merry Christmas to the Birdfreak team and to the entire BPW gang!
My submission this week is the Red-bellied Woodpecker, with a couple of shots I took last month and never got around to posting. Enjoy!
Snowy Egret from me as a replacement for the snow those of us in warmer climates won’t get.
I picked pretty much at random this week and ended up with a Sooty Shearwater.
Gray Flycatcher for me this time. Happy New Year, everybody!!
