I had two posting I really wanted to share this week. First, a close-up of Dark-eyed Juncos (Oregon race) in my backyard. Second, a Cassin’s Vireo I photographed at the Gilbert Water Ranch in Arizona last week.
Posting with Eastern Bluebirds. While photographing them, a flock of turkeys ventured into the yard with Toms displaying. http://vickiehenderson.blogspot.com/2011/02/wild-turkey-and-eastern-bluebirds.html
Also, please help us keep KY from hunting the eastern population of sandhill cranes. Visit the petition site and support a change in the flyway Management Plan. http://www.thepetitionsite.com/1/sandhill-cranes-new-plan/
