Four Lakes Birding

Four Lakes Forest Preserve can be quiet and serene, especially during the morning hours. A famous place for area fishing, it is also good for fishing birds, such as Belted Kingfishers and Great Blue Herons. Baltimore Orioles, Yellow-billed Cuckoos, Eastern Wood-Pewees, and Warbling Vireos are just some of the nesting bird species to be found here.
