I've collected my thoughts on them in a <a href="http://www.birderslibrary.com/features/shorebird-guide-comparison.htm" rel="nofollow">Shorebird Guide Comparison</a>. Rick, I'm not familiar with Chandler's previous guide either. However, in the intro to his latest, he notes that it evolved from <em>North Atlantic Shorebirds</em>. It shares a similar layout and objective, "but on a larger scale". I just got the Chandler guide as well, and immediately started comparing it to the other shorebird guides that I have. I’ve collected my thoughts on them in a Shorebird Guide Comparison.

I really love Houghton Mifflin's Shorebird Guide... I don't like how the text and images are split up in that one though. I'll see about putting up a review on that guide as well. For me I can not have too many shorebird guides!!
