Birding

We love to travel to find new birds and participate in a lot of bird counts. We also created a Guide to Birding Field Guides and host a collection of over 300 birding links from all over the globe.

Conservation

While our main focus continues to be birds, we promote other areas of conservation as well. Conserving land not only benefits wildlife, but is hugely beneficial to people as well.

Outdoors

We love all sorts of outdoor activities, especially hiking and spend a lot of time outside with dogs and horses. We are working to produce more articles on all sorts of outdoor fun!

Photography

Every week we bring you Bird Photography Weekly. We periodically talk about our adventures in digiscoping. Feel free to browse our photo lifelist.

Advertising Policy

We are a self-supported website with a complete focus on promoting the joys of birding and inspiring increased bird conservation. Conservation isn’t cheap so if you’d like to advertise on this site, here is our advertising policy.

  1. We DO NOT accept any advertisement offers from any optic company other than Swarovski Optik.
  2. We have spaces for sale directly below the Swarovski graphic
  3. Each space costs $25.00/month (31 full days)
  4. Maximum dimensions are 200 pixels wide by 200 pixels high
  5. Maximum contract length is 2 months [but can be renewed after 2 months]
  6. Spaces are first come first serve
  7. All advertisement graphics must be submitted by the advertiser
  8. We reserve the right to reject any advertisement and have it resubmitted
  9. Payment is required in full before the ad goes live
  10. We currently only accept PayPal
  11. Please contact us to discuss submitting an advertisement

Prices, ad sizes, etc. are subject to change. We do not guarantee numbers of click-thrus but guarantee our site being live for the full time of advertisement. If the site is down for more than an hour at any time we will extend the ad length accordingly.
