Another one of my fave species. Love the color of the breast, the great red hat and the stripes. They used to visit my suet feeder regularly so I’m hoping to lure them back this year having resumed feeding after a long hiatus.

Red bellies are really expanding there range out here but unfortunately, not to my yard yet! I’m still optimistic.
