I am getting excited to begin our CBCs in Fall River Mills, California, this Sunday. The first of three in our local area of Northern California. We counted 119 species last year including many raptors, geese, ducks and other water fowl plus a lone Mountain Bluebird! We logged 97 species on a trip up there just 4 weeks ago when the weather was good. Weather calls for snow Sunday but we should get lots of water birds and raptors and have a great time doing it. Oh how I love this time of year and the CBCs. Have a great time Sunday and get some of those super photos for us will ya? That Lapland Longspur is gorgeous!
