Who Are We?

My name is Eddie Callaway and I am the creator of Birdfreak.com and this web design service. I have been birding since age five and now at age twenty-five have gotten into the internet and marketing.

I have a bachelor's degree in marketing from Northern Illinois University and enjoy writing, traveling, playing with my dogs, and of course, lots and lots of birding. This site is an extension of our blog, Birdfreak Birding Blog, as a way to provide a cost-effective way for bird clubs to gain an online presence.

My sister, Jennifer is a great birder and assists in some of the design (mostly styling) and is co-creator of the Birdfreak Birding Blog. She is currently attending Northern Illinois University for a degree in Geography with an emphasis on habitat restoration.
