My name is Dakota and I live in northern Illinois. I am 11 years old. I love birds and birding. My uncle, Eddie (aka Birdfreak) writes a bird conservation blog and helps me. He is also teaching me about photography. I hope to have a lot of my own photos on this blog. My Mom (Veery) and my aunt Susie (Snowy Owl) also writes for Birdfreak: The Bird Conservation Blog.
I am in middle school attending sixth grade. I am learning to play the Viola in the orchestra. I love birding and studying insects.
