ABC Wednesday is featuring the letter J. I took this Blue Jay photo in my backyard and it turned out pretty well.

Here is my Jay (J)!

Nice to meet a young birder. I have tried to take some of the neighborhood kids around the pond and woods and show them some of the really neat birds, frogs and other things that they have in their back yards. But they are more interested in other things. Nice to see that you love nature and enjoy middle school! Oh, I like the jay photo.

I love watching the blue jays when they come to visit in our back yard.
But I am not a baseball fan, so the Toronto Blue Jays don’t mean much to me.

Lots of Blue-Jays around here…
Not quite as pesky as Stellar-Jays that we find in the mountains…

I love watching birds as well. I haven’t seen a Jay in my area, but we have lots of swallows, geese and loons. I invite you to come see my post about the Canadian Snowbirds Team jets. - Margy

I miss blue jays. We don’t have them in my part of Illinois, but I grew up watching them when I lived in Ohio.
