Camera Critters #20 - Eastern Tiger Swallowtails

My uncle Eddie took this photo in HDR, which is a process I am learning about. You take three photos of the same thing in different exposures and put them together through a software program called Photomatix.

Oh so that’s what HDR is about. Very interesting. I don’t own a DSLR, so I can only think about it. Very nice shot this is!

I too would love to learn how to do HDR. I’ve been wishing I knew how so I could do some HDR shots of some of the farm scenes around here.

The butterfly shot is fantastic. I’ve captured two Tiger Swallowtails together before, but never more than that.
