Found two nesting site, one with chick (Silver Breasted Broadbill feeding chick) and another (Buff Rumped Woodpecker) coming soon I hope.

Looks like I’m not the only one enjoying nesting woodpeckers this week! I’ve got a few pictures of the Red-cockaded Woodpeckers feeding their babes (which, unfortunately, stayed hidden from view) from last Saturday morning. Enjoy!

We’ve been having really crappy weather the whole week so Cynthia and I weren’t able to do some bird photography. That said, I dug into my archives and present to you the Spotted Owl which we “spotted” a year ago.
