I’m submitting Anna’s Hummingbirds, my faithful winter friends. Hope they make it! Last week, my Chestnut-backed Chickadees didn’t make the list. I love seeing all these pictures of birds!

Dreaming of being back in Florida where I photographed this Osprey.

My offering this week is the Red-crested Pochard, with both a male and female taken in the same location but never close enough to photograph together. Enjoy!

American Bittern for me this time. We were finally able to see it in full view – not just head and neck among the reeds.

Veery, Thanks for stopping by my blog and commenting on my little home made bird cage. You’ve got a neat blog here! I am going to add it to my favorites and pass it on to my daughter who also loves birds, spotting them, photographing them, etc! And to my friend, Michelle Palmer who paints them! Links to their blogs are on my blog.
Stop by again sometime!

Great species count! I’m joining in with the golden-crowned kinglet, a new species for me!

I went with an Eastern Screech-Owl that’s been cooperating on the local CBC for several years now (picture’s from last year, but he was out in an identical pose yesterday).

I’ve got Juncos up as well. I guess Red and I are on the same wave-length.

We added a Mexican Jay from a trip a few years back to southeast Arizona. Would love to be there now with all the cold and snow we have :)

Thanks for all the wonderful submissions!! Keep em coming!!

I’m finally adding a shot – a Cooper’s Hawk that visited my yard during last week’s ice storms. I look forward to participating!
